In sad news as probably all of you know NCNO member Farrokh Jahandari passed away on June 3. He had been a club member for eight years or so. And he and his wife Becky hosted at least two meetings. Farrokh was passionate about his motorcycles including his 850 Roadster. He had a great sense of humor about owning a 45-year-old British motorcycle in a fleet that included a modern Ducati and BMW sportbikes. I thought he had some good ideas on exposing the club to new motorcycling audiences. The word is he lost a life long battle with depression. I was surprised when I heard that, as he was always so upbeat and full of energy. But that demonstrates how insidious and serious depression can be. There is a Facebook page titled “In Memory of Farrokh Jahandari” you can post comments there if you like. Check it out, there are hundreds of post and pictures, he had many friends. I am glad to say I was one.
