Steve Coburn

Following a massive stroke, Steve died May 30 in Charlottesville, Virginia. To those of us who knew him well, he will be sorely missed. He had so much more to contribute and so many more people to touch with his unique attributes of generosity, warmth, enthusiasm, spirit of adventure, and a wonderful, fearless, if somewhat outspoken intellect.

Steve is survived by his sister Sue and brother Tim. I am informed by his loving friend, Cathy Dunn, that Steve passed away on his mother’s birthday. Cathy has told me she welcomes all who may wish to call at: 434 465 1948. Many are discussing a memorial and Steve shepherded a number of causes, many of which I was unaware, i.e., Pediatric Brain Tumor, etc.
